Meghan y Harry tienen la primera traba en su nuevo hogar en Estados Unidos

El presidente Donald Trump dijo este domingo que Estados Unidos no pagará por la seguridad del príncipe Harry y su esposa Meghan, pareciendo confirmar que la pareja se mudó a California.

Según informes, Harryy Meghan volaron en avión privado desde Canadá a Los Ángeles antes de que se cerrara la frontera entre los dos países debido a la pandemia del coronavirus.

La pareja, que vivió en Canadá por varios meses, sacudió a la familia real a principios de este año con su decisión de no representar más a la monarquía británica y de seguir una vida nueva e independiente.

"Soy un gran amigo y admirador de la reina y el Reino Unido", tuiteó Trump.

"Se informó que Harry y Meghan, que abandonaron el Reino, residirían de forma permanente en Canadá. Ahora se han ido de Canadá a Estados Unidos, pero Estados Unidos no pagará por su seguridad. ¡Ellos deben pagar!", escribió el mandatario.

Meghan creció en Los Ángeles y su madre, Doria Ragland, todavía vive en esa ciudad, donde la otrora actriz tiene una red de amigos y contactos laborales que le permitirían retomar su carrera.
