Billy Elliot domina nominaciones al Tony

"33 Variations", del venezonano Moisés Kaufman, consiguió el martes cinco nominaciones a los Premios Tony que incluyen mejor obra, mientras que el éxito musical "Billy Elliot" se alzó con 15 candidaturas, el mayor número desde el 2001. La soprano argentina Joesefina Scaglione, estrella de la nueva puesta de "West Side Story", fue postulada a mejor actriz de un musical y el adolescente de padres cubanos David Alvarez, quien se turna para interpretar a "Billy Elliot" con otros dos jovencitos, comparte una postulación con estos a mejor actor de un musical.
